Forty-four days. And something has changed in the way the body inhabits space — not only during floor exploration, but all the time.

A permanent integration

Oral grounding has settled in. It is no longer something one does during a session — it is something that is simply there, continuously. Sitting, lying down, on the grass, on the floor. At every position, at every moment of the day, something organises itself from within.

This is not vigilance. This is not discipline. It is integration — the nervous system has absorbed the principle and replays it spontaneously, in every context. That is what true integration looks like. It no longer requires effort. It simply is.

A pain that has gone

Something unexpected this morning: no more pain. A long-standing pain, present for decades, always there — in the hip, in the chain — has disappeared. Completely.

It was not oral grounding alone that made it go. It is the consequence of over a year of practice — yoga, somatic exploration, patient work on the structure. But it is all of this together. Nothing acts alone. Oral grounding belongs to a whole, and it is the whole that transforms.

Extraordinary. There is no other word.

Movement comes from within

What is striking today is the sensation itself. Very little fixation. Very little rigidity. When something moves, it moves through most of the structure — not locally, not from a muscle that decides. From within.

Movement is initiated by something structural. It is no longer a muscle that fixes and pushes — it is the structure itself that comes into motion. The spine alive. The pelvis. The feet. The contact with the ground. The slide.

It is difficult to put into words. But it is a sensation of deep freedom. Moving in every direction without inner resistance. As if the body had found again a fluidity it perhaps once knew, as a child, and had lost without noticing.

Forty-four days. Oral grounding is no longer a practice — it is a presence. It is there sitting, lying, standing, on the grass. A long-standing pain has gone — not by magic, but as the natural consequence of a practice that accumulates. And a new sensation: movement no longer comes from the muscles. It comes from the structure, from within. The spine is alive. The pelvis is alive. Everything is alive.
